Our guarantees:
We can guarantee protection against faulty work or materials in the event of unforeseen circumstances and offer clauses to protect the customer’s interests. We can provide 12 month guarantees for most of our work, however, materials, products, and boilers outsourced by us are usually under manufacturer guarantees which are detailed below.
Workmanship:
For your peace of mind, we offer 12 months guarantee on most workmanship from the completion date.
We strive to ensure the workmanship of our tradespeople lives up to your expectations – and ours. Our goal is always your 100% satisfaction; however, we understand that there can be rare occasions where our work doesn’t meet the expected standards. On these rare occasions, we will come out and rectify the issue at no additional cost to you.
Please note - damage caused by misuse, neglect, or from unauthorised repairs, and issues resulting from normal wear and tear will not be covered, for example blocked drains & frozen pipes due to external factors.
This will be clearly marked on your invoice. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
Materials:
Materials and parts are usually covered by a manufacturer’s guarantee or warranty.
At Clarks Heating and Plumbing Services LTD, when we source and supply materials and parts for your job, they are usually covered by a guarantee or warranty with the manufacturer, and not with ourselves.
Manufacturers’ warranties usually guarantee a replacement or repair of faulty goods within a fixed period, which is usually 12 months but can vary.
Guarantees are legally enforceable, and details on how to make a claim should be included clearly when purchased, either on the packaging, receipt or other proof of purchase. This is in addition to your statutory rights as a buyer, which should also be made clear in the guarantee.
Boilers:
We recommend leading boiler brands to keep your home warm, which can offer exclusive warranties for up to 12 years.
We will take care of registering your warranty, providing aftercare, annual servicing, and Gas Safety testing.
In the event you experience problems with your boiler product that is within warranty, you will need to liaise directly with the boiler manufacturer.
How to make a claim:
Please do this via email (lee@clarksheating.com) so this will all be logged through our quality management system. Please note a record of the invoice number, site address and date of installation within the email.
